Ira Richterman MD

Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon

Ira Richterman MD, after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University, received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY, NY and served his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, he earned a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery from Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital. While at Brown University, Dr. Richterman also was a clinical instructor for the school of medicine.

He is particularly interested in tendon and nerve procedures as well as complex hand and wrist reconstruction. As advancements in Orthopaedics are developed, Dr. Richterman masters these techniques through Academy sponsored courses and Continuing Medical Education classes and vendor symposiums. His experience and extensive training allow him to provide outstanding and compassionate care to his patients.

Dr. Richterman is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and in April 2007 he completed and passed his 10 year recertification examination.

On a personal side, Dr. Richterman enjoys his family, landscaping and ice hockey.
