Precertification Specialist

Description

OMNI Orthopaedics is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team, one who is dedicated to supporting what we love most, taking care of people.

This is a full-time position. Core days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm. Position hours vary based on the needs of the practice. Earlier start time may be needed.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and staff.
  • Invaluable customer service skills.
  • Administrative duties.
  • Obtain precertifications for:
  1. Surgical procedures
  2. MRI
  3. Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional medical office environment. This role routinely uses standard medical office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very sedentary but also requires standing and walking during the day.
