OMNI Orthopaedics has physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists on staff. Also known as physiatry or rehabilitation medicine, our specialists aim to enhance and restore functional ability and improve quality of life.

The role of the physiatrist is to manage a patient’s medical issues as they participate through the rehabilitation process. A physiatrist will assess the patient and assure that the patient is medically stable to participate in therapies. Physiatrists make and manage medical diagnoses and prescribe the therapies that physical therapists will subsequently perform. OMNI physiatrists are experts in designing comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plans, and are integral members of the care team. They utilize cutting-edge as well as time-tested treatments to maximize function and quality of life for their patients.
